This fun and outgoing person will help guide the car wash customer experience, prepare vehicles before entering the car wash, and help maintain wash. Experience with sales and selling is a plus.

To Be Successful in this Role:

Provide excellent customer service while greeting customers and preparing vehicles for the car wash. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and functional operation to keep customers happy and the car wash in optimal condition. Arriving and clocking in with plenty of time. Always represent the company in an honorable and ethical manner on and off the time clock.

Job Duties:

• Greeting customers and assisting at the entrance of the car wash lanes
• Prepare each vehicle before it enters the tunnel
• Maintain positive customer relations, including greeting customers, answering questions, offering product selection choices, and assisting customers in a timely fashion. Offering additional services such as Monthly Wash Plan (FastPass), wash books, and/or upgrades
• Notifying customers of upcoming events, deals, and our fundraiser program
• Observing each vehicle for damage or loose parts before it enters the wash
• Ensure defect-free cleaning by removing all conditions that can be removed prior to sending the vehicle through the automatic equipment
• Accurately handle cash / credit transactions and enter transactions at the terminal
• Maintain accurate and balanced cash drawer (accounting for all cash, coupons, cards, and receipts)
• Address any damage claims and follow directions per your Manager
• Keeping property clear of debris
• Equipment checks hourly
• Follow all company policies regarding attendance, appearance, and conduct
• Keeping work area clean and follow all opening and closing procedures
• Other duties as requested or assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Must have valid driver’s license
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Enjoys working in a team atmosphere
• Excellent and Effective communication skills
• Willing to work in the elements (hot or cool temperatures, depending on season)
• Detail oriented
• Experience in customer service preferred but not required
• Experience with sales and selling is a plus
• Well groomed, proper hygiene, professional presentation
  • Example: Clothes clean and wrinkle free, hair brushed, teeth clean, daily shower
• Physically able to lift at least 25 pounds from a squatting position and able to stay on feet 8-10 hours per day
• Reliable transportation
• Pass a pre-employment screening

Wage:

Starting wage for this position is $15.00/hr. as an hourly employee.
