Lucas Power Steering Fluid is crafted as a general-purpose fluid, infused with specialized base oils and additives. These components are essential in enhancing lubrication which in turn minimizes wear, preserving the robustness of power steering systems.
The fluid’s formula contains mild seal swell agents. These agents condition the o-rings and seals, a critical measure in warding off small leaks. Such preventive maintenance is key to ensuring the longevity and reliability of power steering operations.
Moreover, the fluid is adept at maintaining the smooth operation of power steering systems, and it plays a significant role in mitigating the high-pitched squeals often associated with pump operations.
