Lucas SAE 5W-30 is a Dexos 1 Gen2 approved motor oil. This top selling viscosity grade is designed specifically for use in General Motors vehicles. This also meets all the requirements of API SP and ILSAC GF-6 standards and are licensed with the American Petroleum Institute. This motor oil is blended with API Group III base oils and a cutting-edge additive package containing detergents, dispersants, antioxidants, and corrosion inhibitors. Shear stable viscosity modifiers insure multi-grade performance throughout the life of the oil. Lucas Oil Products looked to establish a premium motor oil for GM vehicles that provides maximum protection and performance from oil change to oil change, so that our customers can be assured that their automotive investment is protected throughout the oil change interval.
