Lucas Hot Rod & Classic Car Motor Oil SAE 10W-40 is a product specifically formulated for the unique requirements of muscle, showroom, classic and trophy cars without catalytic converters, and can also be used in racing applications. This motor oil is crafted with the highest quality paraffinic base oils, and its formulation is enriched with a distinctive additive package. This package boasts elevated levels of zinc, molybdenum, and phosphorus, delivering a robust, thicker additive film to ensure maximum protection, even in the most demanding conditions.

Lucas Hot Rod & Classic Car Motor Oil is engineered to lower oil temperatures, prolong oil life, and reduce metal fatigue. It enhances the film strength between the cylinder wall and piston rings, slows down oil burning, and boosts pressure in engines that have experienced wear. Notably, this motor oil shows excellent properties at cold temperatures and maintains its performance even at high operational temperatures.

The motor oil is compatible with methanol and all types of racing fuels and works well with both synthetic and non-synthetic oils. This product has an increased zinc value of 2100 PPM, which is particularly beneficial for vehicles that may spend extended periods not in use. This is why the additive package includes components from Lucas’ Marine oils, which help in providing protection against rust and corrosion.
